If you follow any bridal shops on Instagram, you will have heard of the term, ‘trunk show’. Some of you may have researched into it and some of you may have overlooked it. So I am going to talk about the basics of what a trunk show is and why we get so excited to host them.

What is a trunk show?

The term trunk show is derived from the common practice of merchandise being transported to events in trunks. This means we receive a whole new, bridal collection in our shop for a weekend only, sometimes even before it’s been officially released. (So exciting!)

So, what’s in it for you?

If you find yourself pinning all your favourite dresses from one particular brand, then a trunk show is the perfect opportunity to see and try on the latest collection.

What else makes a trunk show event special?

You can save on your wedding dress! Every dress from the collection has a 10% discount on the days of the event.

What if I fall in love with a dress but don’t buy it on the day and I want to come back to try it on?

In this case, we most probably won’t have the dress anymore as we only have it for a limited time. The best thing to do is let us know and we will directly contact the brand to get the dress in.

How can I make sure I book a spot in the trunk show?

Even with covid restrictions easing, we are still advising you to book an appointment for trunk shows. Please give us a direct message on Instagram, Facebook, or even an email showing your interest.
